How I can help

Whatever brings you here, I start by understanding what's already working for you, then build from there.

Anxiety

Some days feel heavier than others. You don't have to face them alone.

“

Anxiety can show up in many different ways, and everyone's experience is personal. Together, we can explore supportive, practical strategies that help you feel more at ease and make anxious moments feel more manageable.

Depression

If everything feels heavy right now, we can start small.

“

Depression can feel like sadness, numbness, exhaustion, or disconnection. You don't have to face it alone. Together, we'll explore what's weighing on you and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, hopeful, and in control.

OCD

Intrusive thoughts don't make you dangerous or broken. Therapy can loosen their grip.

“

OCD can feel overwhelming, but you are not your thoughts. With compassionate support, relief and healing are possible. Evidence-based therapy can help you break difficult cycles and move toward a life guided by your values.

ADHD

Your brain isn't broken, it works differently. We'll build systems that fit you.

“

Living with adult ADHD can feel like an uphill battle against overwhelm, but your brain isn't broken, it just processes the world uniquely. We'll partner together to build practical, neurodivergent-affirming strategies that work for your daily life.

Trauma

You already showed you can endure. Treatment builds from there, at a pace that feels safe.

“

What happened to you does not define you. We'll move at whatever pace feels safe.

Intimacy

Hard to talk about? Here it's routine. You set the pace.

“

Sex and closeness can be hard to talk about, and these difficulties are rarely about a lack of love. I'm a certified sex therapist, so this is routine work for me. We'll go at your pace, with no judgment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cost, privacy, your first visit, and what to expect.

What insurance do you accept?

I work with most major insurance plans. Send me your insurance details and I'll verify your benefits before your first appointment, so you'll know what to expect to pay before you commit. If you'd rather not use insurance, ask me about self-pay.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes. Therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and group sessions are all available by secure telehealth video for clients located in Indiana, in addition to in-person visits in Chesterton.

What can I expect from the first session?

Your first session is a conversation, not an exam. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you'd like to change. You don't have to tell me everything at once, and you'll never be handed a label you didn't ask for. We'll finish by agreeing together on a next step.

What areas do you specialize in?

I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, ADHD, intimacy, life transitions, and relationship issues, through one-on-one therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and group sessions.

Do you prescribe medication?

I don't prescribe medication myself. If medication might help, we'll talk it through, and I can coordinate with your doctor or help you find a prescriber. Whatever you decide, nothing happens without your input.

Can I contact you for someone else?

Yes. Parents and partners often reach out first. Send a message or call, and I'll answer your questions and explain next steps. I can't share information about another adult without their consent.

Who sees my information?

Only me, and only to provide your care. Your information is protected under HIPAA. If you use insurance, your insurer receives the billing information needed to process claims, including a diagnosis code. If you'd rather keep insurance out of it, ask me about self-pay. Video visits take place on a secure platform. Read the full privacy policy for details.

How soon can I be seen?

Send a message or call, and I'll reply within one business day to find a time that works. If you need help sooner than that, call or text 988.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, I'm currently accepting new patients for both in-person and telehealth appointments. Reaching out takes less than two minutes.
